CREDENTIALS: No advance requests
needed. Media members must show company identification (company
ID card or letter from
superior on company letterhead) for admittance. No credentials will be issued to
school, student or freelance photographers.
The
following information was prepared to assist you with your coverage of the upcoming OHSAA
state field hockey, cross country, volleyball and soccer tournaments. Please contact Tim

additional questions. Previews and additional information will be posted on the OHSAA
web site (www.ohsaa.org) the week of each state tournament.
DATE: Semifinals Friday,
Nov. 6, and finals
Saturday, Nov. 7, at Upper Arlington High School, Columbus.
LOCATION: Upper Arlington High School is located at 1650 Ridgeview Rd., Columbus
43221. Take the Lane Ave. exit off of State Route 315 and head west. Follow Lane Ave.
until you pass the Lane Ave. Shopping Center on your left. After the shopping center, turn
right (north) onto Northwest Blvd. Follow Northwest Blvd. for 0.4 miles and turn right
onto Ridgeview Rd., where you will see the school and stadium.
TIMES AND FORMAT: Semifinals contests on Friday begin at noon and 2:30 p.m. The two
winners will come back on Saturday and play in the finals at 1:00 p.m.

PARKING: Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis around the school. Additional
parking is available at Kingsdale Shopping Center, located off of Northwest Blvd., north
of Ridgeview Road.
WORK SPACE/TELEPHONES/INTERVIEWS: Space is available in the press box for media
members to work after each contest and file stories. A telephone is available for use for
credit card, collect or toll-free calls only. Wireless internet access is also available.
Players and coaches are available on the field (following the awards ceremony on
Saturday). For additional information, contact Dr. Greg Sullivan

BROADCASTING AVAILABILITIES, RATES: Radio-Live or tape-delayed is permitted. There
is no rights fee charge. Stations are also permitted to stream to their company web sites
on a live or tape-delayed basis.
Audio Streaming-Live or delayed is permitted. There is no rights fee charge. Video
Streaming-Delayed streaming is permitted. The cost is $400 per semifinal and $500 for
the finals for companies located in Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus and $200 per
semifinal and $250 for the finals for all other companies. Television-Delayed
telecasts of the semifinals or finals are permitted. The cost is $400 per semifinal and
$500 for the finals for commercial stations in Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus and
regional cable companies with over 750,000 subscribers and $200 per semifinal and $250 for
the finals for all other stations.
RESULTS: Will be posted on the OHSAA web site (www.ohsaa.org) as soon as possible
after each days competition.
