The deadline to submit credential applications is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1. Credentials will be held for pickup on the southwest corner of the stadium (closest to the Schottenstein Center). Please be prepared to show identification.

CREDENTIAL CONFIRMATION:
Upon processing a credential application, the OHSAA will email a confirmation memo to all applicants, which contains important information about the state tournament. The OHSAA will also post a list on its web site of those media members who have been approved for credentials. The list will be posted by noon Thursday, June 2.

NOTE ON MEDIA CREDENTIALS: Please note that parents, school photographers and coaches may not receive media credentials to OHSAA state tournaments. Media outlets found to be in violation of this regulation could have reduced access at future state tournaments.

PARKING:
A limited number of reserved parking passes will be mailed to some media outlets, which are good for the lots immediately south of Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. For those media who do not receive a parking pass, free parking is on a first-come, first-served basis in the Buckeye Lots, located at the corner of Ackerman Road and Fred Taylor Drive northwest of the stadium.

MEDIA WORK SPACE: Interviews are permitted on the infield and media may wait in the media tent located just south of the awards podium. Two media work rooms are located underneath the main grandstands at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium (rooms 130 and 140). A limited number of writers will be assigned a seat in the press box of the stadium. The OSU softball stadium is available if both work rooms are full (press box). A note regarding your seating assignment will be placed in the envelope containing your credential.

WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS AND TELEPHONES: Free wireless internet access is available throughout the facility. A username and pass code can be obtained at the media check-in tent in the southwest corner of the stadium. For those media needing a phone line, fax a request to Steve Aldous at The OSU Office of the Chief Information Officer at 614-688-3425. You can also call Steve at 614-292-9166. Fees apply.

PHOTOGRAPHS AVAILABLE: Media outlets unable to send a full-time photographer to a state tournament are encouraged to use the OHSAA’s official photographer – Impact Action Sports Photography – for their photo needs. Their website is www.ImpactActionPhotos.com (click on the media request form). Contact Joe Maiorana (photojoe2707@yahoo.com) or Ben Barnes (barnziben@gmail.com) with any questions.

AP MARKETPLACE AVAILABLE: Media outlets that are Associated Press members will have access to state tournament qualifiers and results via the AP Marketplace (APexchange.com). The information will also be posted at OHSAA.org.

REGIONAL RESULTS/STATE QUALIFIERS:
Results of regional tournaments (with the top four finishers in each event in each regional qualifying for the state tournament) will be available through the OHSAA web site Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29. Divisions I and III will be posted Saturday and Division II Sunday (the times for posting are to be determined since the process is dependent upon data being transferred from the regional sites). State tournament heat/flight assignments and participants’ information will also be posted by 4 p.m. Saturday for Divisions I and III and by 2 p.m. Sunday for Division II. Viewers will have the opportunity to e-mail spelling corrections to the OHSAA no later than 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 31.
