Latin for “swift cure,” is a community fundraising initiative for cancer
research at Cleveland Clinic. At its core, it’s a cycling event where
riders commit to raise a pre-determined dollar amount by requesting
support from personal contacts. Every dollar raised by participants
funds cancer research at Cleveland Clinic.
Last year’s inaugural
event featured 800 riders and 700 volunteers raising nearly $2 million
for cancer research. This year’s event will take place July 17–19 in
downtown Cleveland. Participants may choose from several options, from a
12-mile fun ride to a 207-mile two-day ultimate challenge.
