Please read this entire document before submitting your media credential application.

1.)   Sectional/District Tournament Requests: Notify the sectional/district
       tournament site managers to arrange for media credentials.  Click here
       to go to the Baseball web page to access district tournament information. 
       Then click on the district you are covering.  Tournament site manager's
       contact information is located there.

DATES: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 31, June 1 and 2, Columbus Cooper Stadium.
LOCATION/DIRECTIONS: Cooper Stadium (1155 West Mound Street) is located just off of I-70 on the west side of downtown Columbus. From the east, take the Mound Street exit (98B); from the west, take the West Broad Street exit (97); then follow the signs to the stadium.

10:00 - Division I Semifinal (Cincinnati regional winner vs. Shelby regional winner)
1:00 - Division I Semifinal (Canton regional winner vs. Dublin regional winner)
4:00 - Division IV Semifinal (Elyria regional winner vs. Lancaster regional winner)
7:00 - Division IV Semifinal (Huber Heights regional winner vs. Hamler regional winner)

Friday, June 1
10:00 - Division II Semifinal (Hudson regional winner vs. Galion regional winner)
1:00 - Division II Semifinal (Xenia regional winner vs. Zanesville regional winner)
4:00 - Division III Semifinal (Fairborn regional winner vs. Chillicothe regional winner)
7:00 - Division III Semifinal (Elida regional winner vs. Massillon regional winner)

Saturday, June 2
10:00 - Division I Final
1:00 - Division IV Final
4:00 - Division II Final
7:00 - Division III Final

CREDENTIALS: When you know a team you will be following has qualified for the state tournament, fax requests to Bob Goldring (614-267-1677) at the OHSAA office. The deadline to submit credential applications is 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 29. Credentials will be held for pickup at Gate 2 of Cooper Stadium. Please be prepared to show identification. If the team you are covering wins its semifinal game, use the same credential for the championship game.

CREDENTIAL CONFIRMATION: The OHSAA will post a list on its web site of those media members who have requested and been approved for credentials. The list will be posted by noon on Wednesday, May 30.

Once you access the web site (www.ohsaa.org), the list can be found under the heading “OHSAA News & Media”

TELEPHONES: One line is available in each radio booth for play-by-play for the school’s “designated station” for credit card, collect, toll-free or call-backs only. A line will also be available for print media members to file stories on a first-come, first-served basis for credit card, collect or toll-free calls only. To install a personal line, contact Joe Santry at Cooper Stadium at 614-462-5250.

BROADCAST RIGHTS FEES: None for radio; $50 per day per camera for television.

YOUR HOSTS: Event Coordinator Mark Galuska (work: 614-462-5250; cell: 614-266-2938); Media Coordinator Joe Santry, plus OHSAA Assistant Commissioner John Dickerson, the Association’s administrator for baseball.

REGIONAL TOURNAMENT PAIRINGS: Regional pairings will be available on the OHSAA web site (www.ohsaa.org) on Sunday, May 20 (provided there are no weather delays), by viewing the “2007 Statewide Tournament Brackets/Results.” Those can be accessed by going to “Sports & Tournaments” followed by “Baseball.”
