State Tournament Media Information:
The following information is provided to assist the media covering the
OHSAA boys tennis state tournament. Please contact Tim Stried (tstried@ohsaa.org
or 614-267-2502, ext. 124) at the OHSAA office should you have
additional questions. Pairings and additional information will be posted
on the OHSAA web site the week of the state tournament.

Dates:
Friday, May 25 – First round and
quarterfinals
Saturday, May 26 – Semifinals and finals
Location:
The Ohio State University Outdoor Varsity Tennis Courts
Inclement Weather Location:
Elysium Tennis Center in Plain City. The address is
7637 Commerce Place, Plain City, OH 43064. The phone number is
614-873-8749. The website is

Pairings:
Will be posted on the OHSAA web site no later than noon
on Tuesday, May 22.
Times and Format:
Play begins both days at 9 a.m. with Division II singles players
followed by Division I singles players followed by doubles teams.
Credentials:
There is no official credential application form to submit to the OHSAA
for the boys tennis state tournament and no other advance registration
is needed. Media members shall show their company identification (ID
badge or letter from editor/supervisor) for admittance at the main gate.
Media shall be asked to sign in and will be given a media packet
containing a credential, weekly press release, welcome letter and
program.
Parking:
There is no charge to park and there is no designated media parking lot.
Media Work Space:
There is not a designated work area for media and there
are no internet connections, telephones or wireless access available at
the courts. Play should end in plenty of time each day to allow media to
go home or to another local establishment to work.
Results:
Results will be posted on the OHSAA web site as soon as possible
following each day’s competition. Results will also be posted in the
Associated Press Marketplace for AP members.
Photographs Available:
Media outlets unable to send a full-time photographer to a state
tournament are encouraged to use the OHSAA’s official photographer –
Impact Action Sports Photography – for their photo needs. Their website

Note on Media Credentials:
Please note that parents, school or “team” photographers and coaches may
not receive media credentials to OHSAA state tournaments. Media outlets
found to be in violation of this regulation could have reduced access at
future state tournaments.
