CREDENTIALS (NEW
PROCEDURES IN 2007): No advance reservations necessary. Media members who present
company identification or a letter from a superior will be admitted at the main gate.
DATE: Semifinals Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Dublin Scioto High School and
Dublin Coffman High School. Finals Friday, Nov. 3, at Upper Arlington High School,
Columbus.
LOCATIONS OF SITES: Dublin Scioto High School is located at 4000 Hard Road, Dublin
43016. When traveling on I-270 north of Columbus, take the Sawmill Road exit and head
north. Follow Sawmill Road for approximately 0.4 miles until you reach Hard Road. Turn
left (west) onto Hard Road, follow for another 0.4 miles and the school and stadium will
be visible on your right. Dublin Coffman High School is located at 6780 Coffman Road,
Dublin 43017. When on I-270 north of Columbus, take the State Route 161 East exit toward
Dublin. Follow State Route 161 East for 0.8 miles until you reach Post Road. Turn left
onto Post Road and follow for 0.6 miles until you reach Emerald Parkway. Follow Emerald
Parkway for 0.1 miles until it becomes Coffman Road. The high school, followed by the
stadium, will be immediately visible on your right. Upper Arlington High School is located
at 1650 Ridgeview Rd., Columbus 43221. Take the Lane Ave. exit off of State Route 315 and
head west. Follow Lane Ave. until you pass the Lane Ave. Shopping Center on your left.
After the shopping center, turn right (north) onto Northwest Blvd. Follow Northwest Blvd.
for 0.4 miles and turn right onto Ridgeview Rd., where you will see the school and
stadium.
TIMES AND FORMAT: Both semifinals will be held Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. The two
winners will come back on Saturday and play in the finals at 11:00 a.m.

PARKING: Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis around each school.
WORK SPACE/TELEPHONES/INTERVIEWS: Space is available in the press box for media
members to work after each contest and file stories. A telephone is available for use for
credit card, collect or toll-free calls only. Players and coaches are available on the
field (following the awards ceremony on Saturday). For additional information, contact Kip

RESULTS: Results will be posted on the OHSAA web site (www.ohsaa.org) as soon as
possible following each days competition.
YOUR HOSTS: OHSAA Assistant Commissioner Deborah Moore, the Associations
administrator for field hockey, will be present for parts of both semifinal matches and
the entire state finals. Kip Witchey is the site manager at Dublin Scioto, Tony Pusateri
is the site manager at Dublin Coffman and Chris Potts is the site manager at Upper
Arlington.
