The number of Class 1 officials needed to work the OHSAA girls basketball tournaments is 144.  There are 3,431 Class 1 basketball officials.  The number of officials selected from each athletic district is based on proportional representation.   For example, if there are 500 OHSAA Class 1 basketball officials and 100 are from the Central District, then approximately 20% of the tournament officials will be selected from the Central District. Additional information and qualifications can be found in the Handbook for Officials..
