Celtics win by one stroke over runner-up Centerville

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Dublin Jerome won the 2012 OHSAA boys Division I state golf tournament by a stroke over Centerville to win its second-consecutive state championship.

The Scarlet Course (Par 71, approximately 7,115 yards) at The Ohio State University Golf Club in Columbus provided a tough test throughout the weekend with golfers facing wet fairways and higher winds on Saturday.

With the tournament winding down and every stroke becoming crucial, Jerome relied on its senior golfers Mert Selamet, 73-80-153 and Chad Howard, 79-78-157 to win it fifth overall golf state championship.
