2011 OHSAA Gymnastics State Championship Recap

HILLIARD, Ohio�Brecksville Broadview Heights took home its record 11th team state championship and eighth in a row Friday at the 2011 state gymnastics tournament held at Hilliard Bradley High School.  The Bees (146.600) finished a little over two points ahead of Hudson (144.325) to win the team title.  Rounding out the top five were Rocky River Magnificat (143.150), Mentor (140.550) and Strongsville (136.375).
                Individual champions were: all-around, Kelly Nortz (Magnificat); bars, Bridget Madel (Hudson); beam, Maria Salvia (Painesville Riverside); floor, Michaela Romito (Broadview Heights); vault, Whitney Stoops (Avon).
