2010 Girls State Soccer Tournament Preview

COLUMBUS, Ohio-- The seminal matchups for girls will take place Wednesday Nov. 10 at various venues around Ohio. Winners will advance to the state championship game for their respective division, both of which will be played at Columbus Crew Stadium Saturday Nov. 13.

The girls Division I semifinal matchups include third-ranked Cuyahoga Falls Walsh Jesuit (17-1-3) taking on second-ranked Strongsville (20-1-1), and fifth-ranked Pickerington North (19-2-0) playing against Cincinnati Anderson (19-3-0).

Division II girls semifinals have Ontario (19-1-1) taking on the winner of the Nov. 7 regional final matchup between of 2009 state runner up Shaker Heights Hathaway Brown and Chagrin Falls.   This is Ontario�s first time reaching the state semifinals. The opposite side of the bracket pits top-ranked Cincinnati Madeira (19-0-3) against second-ranked Cincinnati Indian Hill (18-0-3).
