COLUMBUS, Ohio St. Paris Graham Local and Delta won their fourth-straight state wrestling dual team tournament championships and Lakewood St. Edward captured its second team wrestling state title at the 2016 OHSAA state wrestling dual team tournament at St. John Arena on Sunday. The tournament celebrated its fourth year, as 24 teams across three divisions competed.

St. Edward defeated Elyria 49-22 to win the Division I state title. The victory earned St. Edward its second team wrestling state championship and its first since 2013. When combined with the team titles awarded at the individual tournament, St. Edward now claims 30 wrestling state championships overall, most among OHSAA member schools.  St. Edward defeated Cincinnati Elder 57-9 in the quarterfinals and Massillon Perry 49-10 in the semifinals to advance to the state championship match. Elyria was making its first state final appearance in its second year qualifying for the tournament.

In Division II, Graham captured its fourth-straight team wrestling state championship and 18th wrestling state title overall by defeating Wauseon in the state final match, 62-4. Graham advanced through a 69-6 quarterfinal victory over New Lexington and a 57-6 semifinal victory against Mentor Lake Catholic. At the individual state tournament, Graham has won the Division II team title every year since 2001. Wauseon finishes as state runner-up in its first appearance at the tournament.
