2019 Sectional Swimming Tournament Entry Process

Please complete the steps below by the established deadlines to ensure that your swimming participants are appropriately entered into the sectional tournament.

  • Athletic Administrators or Principals must complete the OHSAA Tournament Entry Process for swimming and diving in myOHSAA by January 21, 2019. List the Board-approved coach or faculty representative that will accompany the athletes to the tournament. Tournament managers will access this form through myOHSAA.
  • Eligiblity certificates are no longer required to be filed with manager. Certificates must be verified and made available for review upon request.

The following steps must be completed by the Noon, February 4 deadline.  These steps will enter your swimmers/divers into their events for seeding and heat assignments. Schools entering teams must complete these steps with Hy-Tek Meet Manager software. Schools entering individual swimmers/divers must enter their participants per their sectional manager's instruction. If your sectional manager allows for paper entry of these individual competitors, use the links at the bottom of this web page to print the entry forms for individual participants. All entries must be submitted to the sectional manager no later than Noon on Monday, February 4.


Please read all instructions and view the Frequently Asked Questions before contacting your sectional entry person for assistance.

  • Download the appropriate Hy-Tek Sectional Tournament Event File(s), found here
  • Import the file/s from step 3 into Hy-Tek Team Manager
    • Assign the athletes to events with times
    • Export the entry file/s and print the Team Manager Entry Report/s.

NOTE: Be sure and use the school code and school name exactly as it is in the OHSAA School Code list.

  • Email each entry file(s) to the sectional computer entry person as an attachment.  The sectional computer entry person will email you back confirmation of receipt of the file(s). Please contact your district athletic board representative to determine your sectional computer entry person
  • Send through email the team manager entry report(s) to the sectional computer entry person. The sectional computer entry person will not process the sectional tournament entry file(s) until all required documents have been received by the deadline.
  • If you need technical assistance, contact your sectional computer entry person.
Note.  All teams must use the electronic tournament entry process.  Non-electronic forms (see link(s) below) will be used only for schools entering individual participants per their sectional manager's instruction.
