Description Henderson County High School is seeking a Head Football coach.

This is considered an extra service position with a stipend and is not considered a full time

position.

While this is an extra service position, it is the expectation that the successful

candidate will also seek a full time certified position within Henderson County High

School. Candidate can either have a Kentucky teacher certification or be willing to

seek an alternative certification path.

The position is responsible for coaching student athletes to prepare them for events or

competition. This position motivates student-athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport of

football.

Must possess the following:

Effective coaching techniques and skills;

A thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport;

and

The ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with school

administrators, parents, and students.

Must fulfill the coaching requirements according to KHSAA Policy. Experience as a football coach

at the high school level or college level preferred.

background check.
