The NWDAB and the OHSAA do not make tournament adjustments based
on dual sport athletic participation. Every member school must have their
own policy for how the district’s athletic department will manage conflicts of
multiple team schedules and dual sport athletic participation. The local
school district policy should clearly state the order of the athlete’s primary
and secondary sports in case of a potential conflict. This is a local school
district decision.
