COLUMBUS, OHIO - The 2026 OHSAA Ice Hockey State Tournament will return to Nationwide Arena on March 14-15, 2026 for the 24th consecutive year.

Since 2003, Nationwide Arena has served as the championship venue. The ongoing partnership between the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the Columbus Blue Jackets has helped keep the tournament in Columbus, giving the students an opportunity to play in a professional environment.

Beyond the size, the arena also provides a top-tier fan experience with the high definition scoreboards, concession stand options and the Blue Jackets Fan Zone.

John Kronour, OHSAA Director of Sport Management, emphasized the significance of the experiences for participating schools. "For many of these student-athletes, competing at Nationwide Arena represents years of dedication to the sport," Kronour said.
