COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio High School Athletic Association has announced a five-year contract with Select to serve as the official soccer ball of the OHSAA postseason tournament, effective with the 2026 season. The Select Brilliant Super will be used on the pitch when state champions are crowned this coming fall at Historic Crew Stadium.
The United Soccer League, National Premier Soccer League and the Women’s Premier Soccer League use Select as their official soccer ball, as well as a growing list of college conferences. Seven countries that have qualified for the Word Cup use Select as their official soccer ball.
In addition, Select is the official soccer ball of the Kentucky and Wisconsin high school athletic associations.
Select, which replaces Wilson Sporting Goods as the supplier of the official tournament ball, is offering the ball at a discounted price to OHSAA member schools. Information has been sent to member schools with information about how to order.
In addition, Select will donate 100 balls for "The Cure" games this fall, as schools participate in contests to raise money for Cancer Awareness Month.
