On behalf of the OHSAA Foundation and the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center we are proud to announce the collaborative SLC. Students from selective schools will arrive for registration at 8:30 am with the Opening General Session lead by Student Ambassadors in the Conference Center Auditorium at 9: 00 am. Students will attend the general session with special guests and the keynote speaker Harvey Alston. Following the keynote students will attend 1 of 2 breakout sessions.  Session A is “Creating a Shared Vision” by Omari Pearson and session B “Creating Motivating Actions” by Deb Hult will be in a rotation group.  Lunch will be provided with entertainment by DJ Elijah Edwards. The closing speaker Jason Michaels will cover the topic of “Over Coming Difficulties”. To send us home Dr. Mark Burke will present the Closing Remarks.

The Theme for the November conference is “Lifting Our Voices” that will focus on creating a shared understanding or vision with the school and activities. The speakers will focus on students finding their voice or knowing that they have a voice.  Once they understand that their voice matters they can start developing a plan to create a motivating impact action plan.

For all those students who could not attend the Mid- Ohio event the conference will be rebroadcasted free on demand from Monday January 16, 2023 - Monday February 13, 2023. Each year we will sponsor the Student Leadership Conference in a different area of the state.  The 2024 conference will be hosted by the Athens, Ohio School District. We will send out the details at a later date:
