 Backstroke Start Altered in High School Swimming

The National Federation of State High School Associations approved eight rules changes for the 2009-10 swimming season, including allowing participants in the backstroke event to start the race with their feet placed on the end wall. Click here for the full NFHS release.

  • Diving Competition
    Wednesday, February 25 - Division II
    Thursday, February 26 - Division I
       Admission - $8.00 per person per day
        
    tickets available to the main entrance
  • Swimming - Friday, February 27
    9:00 a.m. - Division II Preliminary Heats
    5:00 p.m. - Division I Preliminary Heats
  • Swimming - Saturday, February 28
    9:00 a.m. - Division II Final Heats and Awards
    5:00 p.m. - Division I Final Heats and Awards

Admission:
Diving Competition - $8.00 per person per day

Swimming Competition - Seating is limited. There are no walk-up ticket sales to the general public. Tickets may only be obtained through a participating high school coach
.  Once state qualifiers have been determined each participating school is permitted to purchase a predetermined number of tickets based on the number of qualifiers. Coaches must submit their ticket request form with payment by Tuesday, February 24. Tickets are sold as all-session ticket books only for $32.00.
