MEDIA ADVISORY: OHSAA Fall State Tournament Information
 
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio High School Athletic Association will conduct its first fall state tournaments next week with girls and boys golf. The Division III boys golf state tournament returns to NorthStar Golf Club in Sunbury, while the Division II and I state tournaments have prestigious new homes. Firestone Country Club in Akron will host the girls and boys Division II state tournaments, while NCR Country Club in Kettering will host the girls and boys Division I state tournaments.

OHSAA Fall State Tournaments
No Advance Registration Required For:
   Division III Boys Golf – Oct. 11-12 at NorthStar Golf Club, Sunbury
   Division II Girls and Boys Golf – Oct. 13-14 at Firestone Country Club, Akron
   Division I Girls and Boys Golf – Oct. 14-15 at NCR Country Club, Kettering
   Girls Tennis – Oct. 17-18 at The College of Wooster
   Field Hockey – Oct. 31 & Nov. 2 at Thomas Worthington High School
 
Registration Applications Required For: 
   Cross Country – Nov. 2 at Fortress Obetz and Memorial Park (application deadline is Wed., Oct. 30 at noon)
   Volleyball – Nov. 7-9 at Kettering Fairmont High School, Vandalia-Butler High School, Clayton Northmont High School and Wright State University, Irvin J. Nutter Center (application deadline is Tues., Nov. 5 at noon)
   Soccer – Nov. 8-9 (girls) & 10-11 (boys) at Historic Crew Stadium, Columbus (application deadline is Thurs., Nov. 7 at noon)
   Football – Dec. 5-7 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, Canton (application deadline is Tues., Dec. 3 at noon)
 
OHSAA Broadcast Partners 
Spectrum News 1 is the official television partner of the OHSAA and will provide exclusive television play-by-play coverage of the OHSAA football state championship games in Canton, along with selected playoff games each weekend. Spectrum’s coverage is also available at OHSAA.tv.
 
The NFHS Network is the official streaming partner of the OHSAA and will provide exclusive video streaming of selected tournament contests in field hockey, cross country, soccer, volleyball and football. NFHS Network coverage is available at:

If neither Spectrum nor the NFHS Network is covering a tournament contest, it is available to local media for live streaming and delayed television coverage. All games are available for live audio broadcasting.

The OHSAA provides numerous public service announcements to promote sportsmanship, officiating, supporting school sports and more. Many of the PSAs are produced in cooperation with the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) and the Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (OIAAA).  Attention radio stations: please contact Tim Stried for information on affiliate plans for the 2024 OHSAA football playoffs and state championship games. The OHSAA Radio Network will produce weekly 28-minute shows during the playoffs and cover all seven state championship games December 5-7, with Skyview Satellite providing distribution.
