The OHSAA 7th & 8th Grade Post Season Cross Country Invitational is the ONLY OHSAA-sponsored post season cross country event for 7th & 8th grade teams. It is a fantastic opportunity for athletes to experience the state championship course and environment.

Where: Fortress Obetz and Memorial Park
Registration: NOW OPEN to all OHSAA member 7th & 8th grade cross country teams. Registration will close on Saturday, October 11 at 11:59pm; NO late entries or additions will be accepted. Schools MUST use their OHSAA approved MileSplit Team Page.
Changes: Coaches who wish to make substitutions after the entry deadline will be able to do so until noon on Friday, October 17, using the Change Form. Due to printing deadlines, substitutions made after Tuesday, October 14, will not be printed in the souvenir program. If substitutions need to be made after noon on the 17th, they can be made by completing a substitution form and turning it in to the timing team at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled race. No substitutions will be accepted via phone, email, text, or verbally. The change form will be shared with coaches after registration closed.
Box Assignments: Race and box assignments will be posted no later than the end of the day on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Packet Pick Up: Packets must be picked up by a board-approved coach (no parents) with a valid Pupil Activity Permit at the pavilion near the school transportation lot. The school will be asked to provide the PAP number, which is an athlete safety precaution. The packets will include athletes' bibs and coaches' admission wristbands that must be worn on the wrist. Each team participating will receive 3 wristbands, allowing course access.
Meet Pricing
Payment: The OHSAA office will send invoices immediately following the meet based on the number of athletes registered for the meet. Do not send payment before you receive your invoice.
