In the boys contest Wooster sophomore Casey Followay won the 400 and 800, Westland junior Tim Bailey won the 100 and Sheridan senior Zach Hanf won the shot put. Ravenna Southeast’s Jenna Fesemyer won every event in the girl’s competition.
  • March 8, 2013: The OHSAA Board of Directors approved the addition of four Seated events to the State Track and Field Tournament.
    • With the addition of these events, the OHSAA is providing guidance for coaches, meet managers and track officials when a “wheeler” is a member of a team competing in a regular season contest. Included is guidance on when the wheelers should race and how they are to be scored.
  • June 7, 2013: The OHSAA Board of Directors made a historic decision today when it voted to add eight Seated events to the track and field state championships beginning in 2013.
