COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio High School Athletic Association will conduct its first state tournament of the fall season this week with Division II and III boys golf and Division II girls golf. Next week, the girls tennis and Division I golf state tournaments will take place. Please see the links below for state qualifiers and state tournament information.

   Division II & III Golf – Oct. 13 & 14 at OSU Scarlet (Boys Div. III) and Gray (Girls Div. II) Golf Courses and NorthStar Golf Club (Boys Div. II), Sunbury

   Girls Tennis – Oct. 19 & 20 at The College of Wooster

   Division I Golf – Oct. 20 & 21 at OSU Scarlet (Boys Div. I) and Gray (Girls Div. I) Golf Courses

   Field Hockey – Nov. 2 & 4 at Thomas Worthington High School

 

   Cross Country – Nov. 4 at Fortress Obetz and Memorial Park (application deadline is Wed., Nov. 1 at noon)

   Volleyball – Nov. 9-11 at Wright State University, Irvin J. Nutter Center (application deadline is Tues., Nov. 7 at noon)

   Soccer – Nov. 10 (girls) & 11 (boys) at either Historic Crew Stadium or Lower.com Field, Columbus (application deadline is Thurs., Nov. 9 at noon)

   Football – Nov. 30-Dec. 2 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, Canton (application deadline is Tues., Nov. 28 at noon)

 

Spectrum News 1 is the official television partner of the OHSAA and will provide exclusive television play-by-play coverage of the OHSAA football state championship games in Canton, along with selected games each weekend during the football playoffs. Spectrum’s coverage is also available at OHSAA.tv.

 

The NFHS Network is the official streaming partner of the OHSAA and will provide exclusive video streaming of selected tournament contests in field hockey, cross country, soccer, volleyball and football. NFHS Network coverage is available at: www.NFHSNetwork.com

 

If neither Spectrum nor the NFHS Network is covering a tournament contest, it is available to local media for live streaming and delayed television coverage. All games are available for live audio broadcasting.

In consultation with the OHSAA’s Media Advisory Committee, a priority scale has been established for press box seats during the football playoffs. Host sites are asked to follow the priority scale according to the media list submitted by the two schools participating at their site. The OHSAA provides numerous public service announcements to promote sportsmanship, officiating, supporting school sports and more. Many of the PSAs are produced in cooperation with the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) and the Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (OIAAA).
