2027 Tournament Participating Schools
The athletic administrator must indicate their school’s intent to participate with a team or individuals in the OHSAA gymnastics tournament through myOHSAA.  Monday, January 25, 2027 is the established deadline for entry or withdrawal without penalty.  In addition, all coaches, approved by your school's Board of Education or governing body, must be entered in myOHSAA for the school's girls gymnastics team program.

State Team Tournament Qualifiers: The top three teams advance to the State Team Tournament on Saturday, March 6, 2027.
State Individual Tournament Qualifiers: Top nine individuals in each event advance to the State Tournament on Sunday, March 7, 2027.
2027 SEEDING INFORMATION
2027 Central District Girls Gymnastics Tournament Seeding Information will be emailed to the Athletic Director at each participating school the week of  January 18, 2027. The instructions will come from [email protected]. Athletic Directors: please check your inbox, junk or spam folder for this important email. Contact your school's IT department to ensure delivery of emails from this email address.
 
Seeding: All seeding will be conducted on-line using the Central District web site (OHSAA.org/CDAB). Complete instructions for each school will be emailed to the Athletic Director for distribution to the head coach.  For seeding purposes only, a school must have 4 competitors per event to be considered a team. Schools with 3 or fewer competitors per event will register competitors as individuals.
 

Coaches Draw Meeting: A mandatory meeting of coaches entering teams will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2027 at 2:00 p.m., virtually using Microsoft Teams. Each school must be represented by its coach, school administrator or authorized school representative.  Complete instructions to access the virtual meeting using Microsoft Teams will be emailed from Bob Britton, CDAB Secretary.  Coaches are encouraged to print any materials provided in that email to expedite the selection process. 

Please adhere to the seeding and meeting deadlines below as there are penalties for each missed deadline.

  • Thursday, February 11, 2027 
    • 9:00 a.m. - Participants and Team information Due
    • 3:00 p.m. - Seed Voting Begins for schools participating with teams.
  • Friday, February 12, 2027 - 3:00 p.m. - Seed Voting Ends
  • Sunday, February 14, 2027 - 2:00 p.m. - VIRTUAL MANDATORY MEETING OF COACHES ENTERING TEAMS
VIRTUAL MANDATORY COACHES MEETINGS using MICROSOFT TEAMS: 
Coaches of schools entering teams must participate in the mandatory VIRTUAL coaches meetings.
