Division I schools will draw into one of six district tournaments.
(Central 1, Central 2, Central 3, Central 4, Central 5, Central 6). 
District Semifinals: May 26, 2026.
The better seeded team in each of the six District Brackets will host both semifinal games on May 26.  The better seeded team will play at 2:00 p.m. followed by the other semifinal game at 5:00 p.m. 
District Finals: May 28, 2028 - 5:00 p.m.
The better seeded team playing in the District Final game will host at 5:00 p.m.
Regional Qualifiers: The winner of each district tournament will advance to the Regional Tournament.  Regional Tournament sites are subject to change.  Check the tournament brackets for updates.
Region 2 Tournament - Tue., June 2, 2026 at TBA

2026 CENTRAL DISTRICT BASEBALL TOURNAMENT SEEDING
May 8-10, 2026
2026 Central District Baseball Tournament Seeding Information will be emailed to the Athletic Director at each participating school by April 29, 2026. The email will come from [email protected]. Athletic Directors: please check your inbox, junk or spam folder for this important email. Contact your school's IT department to ensure delivery of emails from this email address.
 
Please adhere to the seeding and meeting deadlines below
as there are penalties for each missed deadline.
 
Seeding: All seeding will be conducted on-line using the Central District web site (OHSAA.org/CDAB) complete instructions will be sent to the Athletic Director for distribution to the head coach.

    • 9:00 a.m. - Team Information Due for Seeding
    • 3:00 p.m. - Seed Voting Begins
  • Saturday, May 9, 2026 - 12:00 noon - Seed Voting Ends
  • Sunday, May 10, 2026 - 2:00 p.m. - VIRTUAL MANDATORY MEETING OF COACHES with teams (using Microsoft Teams) to place teams on the tournament brackets.   
Coaches Draw Meeting: A mandatory meeting of coaches will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., virtually using Microsoft Teams. Complete instructions to access the virtual meeting using Microsoft Teams will be available during the seeding process.  Coaches do not need a Microsoft Teams account to participate. 
Virtual Coaches Meeting Information: Bob Britton ([email protected]) will email each coach the links to their specific required coaches meetings prior to those meetings.  Coaches are encouraged to print any materials provided in those emails from Bob Britton to expedite the selection process.
