The Central District Athletic Board has made significant changes to previous tournament seeding processes due to COVID-19
Sectional Site Assignments: Schools have been assigned to sectional sites by the Central District Athletic Board. See specific assignments below under each posted division.
Entry of Players: All coaches will submit their entries including substitutions using the CDAB website. Coaches will include the record and any comments for each entry. Entries will be accepted begining at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22 through 12:00 noon, Thursday, September 24. No changes to players entries will be accepted after the deadline. Failure to submit entries prior to the deadline may result in tournament ineligiblity. Complete instructions will be emailed to the athletic director at each school to forward to the head coach.
Seeding of Players: Selection of the top four seeds will be determined by a vote of coaches through the CDAB website. Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, coaches will access the seeding ballots for singles and doubles team entries to select the top four seeds. Ballots must be submitted prior to 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 26. Failure to submit both singles and doubles ballots may result in a financial penalty.
UPDATED 9/25/2020 - Placement of Players on Brackets: All entries will be placed on the tournament brackets during a VIRTUAL meeting of coaches on September 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. using Microsoft Teams. Coaches are encouraged to download the free Microsoft Teams app to the device they will be using for the meeting. Use this link to create a free Microsoft Teams Account.
Following seed voting on Saturday, September 26, 2020, coaches will be emailed the link for their specific sectional tournament draw meeting from Jim Hayes (email@example.com). Coaches are asked to join the meeting by 1:45 p.m. and mute their microphones until called upon during the meeting.
