2026 CENTRAL DISTRICT TOURNAMENT SEEDING
Divisions II, III, IV Schools
2026 Central District Cross Country Tournament Seeding Information for both boys and girls will be emailed to the Athletic Director at each participating school the week of September 21, 2026. The email will come from [email protected]. Athletic Directors: please check your inbox, junk or spam folder for this important email. Contact your school's IT department to ensure delivery of emails from this email address.
Seeding: Division II, III, and IV Central District schools will be seeded.  Division I schools will not be seeded as they compete at the Regional Tournament.  All Central District tournament seeding will be conducted on-line using the Central District web site (OHSAA.org/CDAB).

Coaches Draw Meeting: A mandatory meeting of Division II, III, IV coaches will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2065, virtually using Microsoft Teams. District race selections will be conducted during this meeting.  Complete instructions to access the virtual meeting using Microsoft Teams will be available during the seeding process.  Coaches do not need a Microsoft Teams account to participate.
Virtual Coaches Meeting Information: Bob Britton ([email protected]) will email each coach the links to their specific required coaches meetings prior to those meetings.  Coaches are encouraged to print any materials provided in those emails to expedite the selection process. 
 
Please adhere to the seeding and meeting deadlines below as there are penalties for each missed deadline.
  • Tuesday, October 6, 2026 
    • 3:00 p.m. - Deadine to submit number of runners for seeding
  • Wednesday, October 7, 2026 
    • 9:00 a.m. - Seeding Voting Begins
  • Friday, October 9, 2026
    • 12:00 noon - Seed Voting Ends
  • Sunday, October 11, 2026 - Division II, III, IV VIRTUAL MANDATORY MEETING OF COACHES using Microsoft Teams to select a district tournament race.

VIRTUAL MANDATORY COACHES MEETINGS using MICROSOFT TEAMS: 
All coaches must participate in the mandatory VIRTUAL coaches meetings.
